It's beginning to look a lot like Springtime! (5/10/24 newsletter)

What a glorious time to be immersed in the great outdoors here in the Hilltowns! It feels so vibrant outside, a little greener and more colorful each day!

This can only mean one thing for the Hilltown Market- VEGGIES are right around the corner! In fact, we’ve got a fridge full of luscious greens and rhubarb already! Our crew is in planning mode for the upcoming season, and we will be in touch in the coming month or so with more details on this year’s delivery schedule. We’re very excited about our new refrigerated van that we were able to purchase with MDAR’s Food Security Infrastructure Grant! It will allow us some more flexibility around deliveries this year.  For now, our store is open Tuesday-Saturday from 10-6 and Sunday 12-4. Come on in and shop, or order ahead online for pickup in the store.

Exciting news- we are finally able to accept SNAP payments online! At checkout, below the credit card payment option, is the option to “Pay with EBT/SNAP and Credit/Debit Cards”. This will allow you to complete your transaction using SNAP! (All HIP transactions must be done in store)

Last thing: Don’t forget we carry Hilltown Herbals’ Lyme Prevention products. These are available in the store and are worth checking out as we get into tick season!

New Arrivals:

  • French Breakfast Radishes (Organic)
  • Rhubarb
  • Hakurei Turnips
  • Red and Yellow Spring onions
  • Steak Tips
  • Shaved Steak
  • Hot Dogs
  • Lots of different pork and beef sausages and a variety of cuts of steak in time for grilling season!

We can't wait to see how this year unfolds, and we're looking forward to seeing more of you in the store as everyone's favorite local fruits and veggies start rolling in again!
